Jul 12,  · This is my favorite Dylan album and the one I have listened to the most. I love all Dylan, but this is one I can listen to anytime, in any mood, compared to some of his more complicated folky albums, it's just more simple and happy and always makes me smile/5().

Bob continued to amaze and surprise critics as he created a country-rock classic with this LP (#3). Johnny Cash and Charlie Daniels guest as you hear the hits I Threw It All Away; Tonight I'll Be Staying Here with You, and the smash Lay Lady Lay plus One More Night; Nashville Skyline Rag, and more!/5().

Lyrics A beautiful, comprehensive volume of Dylan’s lyrics, from the beginning of his career through the present day-with the songwriter’s edits to dozens of songs, appearing here for the first time.

I like the country effect on this Nashville Skyline release. Bob Dylan actually sings on this album(as opposed to the usual grumble) and quite well I might add. A nice blend of ballads, shuffles, and country rockers. The duet with Johnny Cash is beautiful although I /5(79).
